A2Z is a JISC-funded e-Science project, part of the 'AAA Programme' (Authentication, Authorisation and Accounting), to evaluate the Akenti authorisation software in the context of the existing MIMAS current awareness service zetoc.
The constraints for access to the zetoc service are summarised in the table below. For the purpose of testing A2Z runs a cut down version of this authorisation scheme currently only implementing a few institutes with credentials (attribute certificates in Akenti speak) stored on local file systems.
British Library | JISC |
---|---|
From within the British Library Reading Room or From an Accademic IP address or From a Scotish or English NHS provided the licence has been bought | A British Library Reader or From a JISC Recognised HE Institute or From a JISC Recognised FE Institute or From a JISC Recognised Research Council/CHEST establishment/UK NHS provided the licence has been bought |
There are two services available from the zetoc service: You may search the zetoc database ; or you may login to zetoc Alert
A2Z had two similar interfaces. Sorry, the login at https://a2z.mimas.ac.uk/cgi-bin/a2zauthz.pl is no longer available, the A2Z project having finished.
The zetoc service is provided by
